Fixed Income investment refers to investments that provide regular income payments in the form of interest over a fixed period. These include bonds, treasury bills, and savings bonds, where the investor receives a steady stream of income at regular intervals until maturity, at which point the principal is returned.

Fixed Income investments offer predictable returns, making them ideal for conservative investors who prioritize capital preservation and steady income. They are also less volatile than equities, providing a more stable investment option, particularly in uncertain economic environments like Nigeria’s.

Afrinvest offers a range of fixed income products, including government bonds, corporate bonds, and structured notes. Our expert advisory team provides personalized investment advice tailored to your financial goals and risk appetite, ensuring you make informed decisions in the fixed income market.

Through Afrinvest Securities Limited, a licensed broker-dealer regulated by the Nigerian Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), you can access a variety of fixed income products, including:

FGN Bonds – Low-risk government bonds backed by Nigeria.

FGN Savings Bonds – Affordable, government-backed bonds starting from ₦5,000.

Treasury Bills – Short-term, government-backed securities offering secure returns.

Corporate Bonds – Bonds issued by Nigerian companies for higher yields.

Structured Fixed Income Products – Tailored investments to diversify your portfolio.

Afrinvest Securities is also a dealing member of the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), providing you with seamless access to the Nigerian capital markets.

Fixed income investments in Nigeria, especially government bonds, are considered low-risk due to the full faith and credit backing of the government. However, corporate bonds carry higher risk, depending on the issuing company’s financial health. Afrinvest helps mitigate these risks by providing detailed credit analysis and recommending safe investment options.
